Network Improvement Communities
The CEii has a longstanding partnership with Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS), which was formally solidified in 2020 with the signing of a historic memorandum of understanding (MOU) between PGCPS CEO, Monica Goldson, and Dean Jennifer Rice. One of the branches of this partnership centers collaborative work between UMD and PGCPS in the form of Network Improvement Communities, or NICs, focusing on learning loss and school improvement.
